1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

E what exactly does "dead-end" mean? i thought it was just a name for the jeans..

i have 2 nudie slim jims for everyday (also own average joes cut) and ZB DNA for other times. The jeans are completely different. Nudie is a raw jean that comes super stiff when brand new and wears/fades over time. ZB jeans come soft and (mine are black) do not really fade. Additionally, ZB has the twist effect hence the DNA name and are fairly long for good stacking. Nudie just doesn't stack and slim jim / avg joe leg opening is bigger than my ZB and RO. Comfort wise, once nudie gets worn in they are super comfy, my zb were soft/comfy right away.

Basically if i want a slim profile jean with a slim leg opening i use my RO/ZB/levis 511. If i want more casual with no slim profile nudie slim jims and average joes.

LoL - that was one stressful day.

I've owned and sold too many CCP leathers over the years.....
But as we've discussed I've finally found the one that for keeps. [IMG]

Eton - I thought that's your jacket. I still kick myself for not kopping that. Great jacket! But, I'll just have to settle for my waxed short jacket.

The most expensive line in this niche. Much prefer my C.Diems to these:

Those boots look something you would put in a cabinet with a bunch of antique stuff, rather than wear them. I wonder how much do those splendid laces add to the overall price.

Does anyone know if Augusta has any shiny horse leathers (like Guidi soft horse)? I checked a few shops in London and they only have things like Buffalo, Culatta, Kangaroo etc

Keeping on about clothes for a second, and relating somewhat to your question and boot list:

I knuckled down a wrote a list of everything in my wardrobe so I could get an idea of what's in that sprawling mess. First thing: I don't own any jeans. Must've subconsciously purged them. What I do have is 33 pairs of pants that aren't jeans. How the hell did I accumulate so many?

That being said, I've owned Dior and drkshdw in the past. The Dior were pretty much perfect in the 19cm cut for me. I wouldn't be recommending anybody buy drkshdw.

About m_moria, a lot of sizes have sold already. And the most expensive pair I have seen is £3770, which is the taller version of the ankle boot in the earlier pics.
The cordovan on them does look lovely. The design, not for me!

    Any recommendations for summer pants?
