At the price that is being paid for these fancy boots we all love, I'd like to see more lasts being used... instead of one toe shape across 9 boots, maybe throw in 2-3 shapes to keep things interesting.

It's a small label, and he clearly had one preferred silhouette in mind for the season. Last season's shoes had a totally different shape. I dunno, I think it's OK. Many labels don't manage to put out shoes at all.

the shape and overall aesthetic of his boots are good. but, there's something too "dressy" about his sole. i think if he was to distress it a little more, it would compliment well.

Plokhov himself said he doesn't really like distressing – it will distress itself in time haha. I actually like the "neat" sole.

I dont know if that would really work that well

I think most designers in this thread tend to have a last or two that they use and then change up the line completely over time

Wouldn't suprise me however if you saw a MTO maker come along and get into this market (besides guidi)

Individual sentiments and CCP are a pretty small part of this thread man

It isn't what they are known for, whilst Guidi is pretty well known for being flexible and open with customers MTO requests

By far and large, its Guidi's game at the moment

nah mine were a small run that distributor did.
