1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

marsell's are not bad at all and i'm pretty sure they use guidi leather. most time's you can find them on sale or on yoox for about $200-500. they are definitely hit and miss though and most pairs i've tried and owned were not really comfortable to walk in.

almost bought a pair of Layer 0 derbies at maxfield that are on sale for $800... they're a 43 but a little big even with an insole. they're fucking bad ass though. I may go back tomorrow and try to convince myself that I need them.

went to saint laurent and checked out their boots as well. i think the manufacturing is the same as balenciaga cause their combat boots are nearly identical and the sole was already ripped. the chelseas are pretty cool though. every one working there looks so cool. i'm so confused.

Anybody can give info on 994 guidi sizing? mmm/cp size 42 so I assume 44 would work...

I'm a slightly big CP 42, and 43 Guidi fits perfect

    bah nothing in 44 ever...

FYI, folks w/44+ size feet things get sold out quickly and fly off b&s normally esp the rarer/grail items so keep that in mind.

Pretty sure it's same leather at least from ones on some Japanese sites that I've seen they say Guidi leather.

I'll be putting up my brand new sz41 Guidi 986S boots on B&S in a day or two once I've got over the flu and have taken some pics.

hah not wanting to fill this thread with adverts, but I might be having to part with my new guidi, they were a little too big in store and I thought insoles would make up for it but they still just don't work.

    994ms, 709t, Cordovan cont.

They're snug around my foot but just a little too long for my liking, was hoping heel inserts would fix the problem but to no avail. Retrospectively that was probably bad advice [IMG]
