1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    These are all great options.
I'm interested in the same styles and colorways too.

FWIW, I think the bone colored leather might be a bit harder to work in different outfits. Not as versatile as the other colors you posted. I also think that the derby suits your style more, from the few fits I've seen of you. Could be wrong here of course.

I'd go for the 1st or 3rd derby or just a pair of in black, reversed.

the 1st picture of the boot was just for colour reference, there's no doubt i'm going for a 992.
I've narrowed it down to the dark gray reverse stag or the first pair in horse that I posted, I guess I'll sleep on it.

both are good options, just make sure they have a toe cap or you may have them mold to your feet, i find that it looks weird but if you dont care it doesnt matter.

Lien back-zip boots and derbies available in 41 and 42 from www.bernice.jp

BTW, for AW13-14, they will make a shorter version of the back-zips.

What I was told about steer that it's oily so I'm guessing it'll be slightly darker than that in say kangaroo or donkey/horse, every leather basically absorbs leather differently. Especially when it's in a reversed leather, honestly I was back in fourth with Holger at almost 20 different emails back in fourth in discussion about different colors and how they'll show on different leathers. Primarily with donkey/horse/kangaroo were my primary choices. Both in color codes and also examples of different leather codes on different leather. I'd probably ask him for advice on the colors and I'll send you a link on a couple colors in lighter - medium grey/brown tones for you.

My buddy in Australia (same dude with Attachment side zips on sufu) may be willing to part with his Layer-0 goodyear derby in cordovan in sz42 if anybody is interested. Leather is cordovan too. PM me for details.

i can see why you'd think that, but when you actually pair it with stuff i think the bone is really versatile (pics from siki im fw12). horse derbies in bone are definitely something i'd like to get eventually.
