+1. I rarely ever put vibrams on my shoes. Didn't put them on my Guidis either.

Yes, brand new leather soles are slippery! I always wear them on concrete and get some traction/wear on them. Keep in mind if you get the soles vibram'ed. the cobbler will scrape a bit off (if new) to get a good grip for the rubber layer to stick.

    +1 to that,

    other thoughts:

vibram replacement is cheaper than sole replacement
vibram soles feel a little softer to walk on

Just tried on the MA+ :( 45 I can barely zip up but they are wayyy long on me. No way a 44 will fit.

people who vibram their shoes are the same ones who have hideous cases on their iPhones and clear bras on their cars

i just did it to two pairs of boots because rain, wet leaves, and cobblestones is the most lethal combination of Shit that Wants to Break Your Ankles that I have ever experienced.

Lol you don't often see the bottom of your boots when you wear them. It's the design and toe shape that I like about ma+ boots.

that said, there is a reason they come with a second set of heels. i'd use metal heel taps.
