is it that awful square shit? I can't even tell from the photos. Mostly it's the color and profile that I am attracted to.

    toe box looks fine.

Even the CCP chiseled toe box is cool in my opinion. Not everything has to be round. Let's not all be drones to the same round bulbous shape - which, let's be honest, we would've hated a couple of years ago.

I don't want bulbous; I like how chiseled it is. But there's some model out there that looks all nice and then has this weird flat toe, which is what SinnedK is saying it is. CCP would be first choice but I need all my organs.

Does this have a weird two-tone leather thing going on? Especially the shoe on the left near the stitching

we aren't discussing that, we are talking about the a1923 Synthese posted, just that pair and just that toe box

fyi i really like CCP shapes/toeboxes

you got it, thats the model with the weird toe box and it is a bit too square IMO

Thanks for saving me the heartache, for sure. I probably would never even have noticed until they arrived. Yikes.

Ok, well do you know the shape I mean? the one that is basically the a1923 version of the CCP zip? I just love that bone color and the aggressive profile; would be so cool with practically everything I own. Alternatively there's some other non zip CCP model (they all blend together in my head) that would be equally gaucho/crashed flying ace.

need pants that are not jeans

Well sure but now it's a moot point because they're not even the boots I thought they were :( I got a little embarrassed about the number of boots in my closet today, though, so I should probably try to avoid more purchases.
