    I agree- the price is really irrelevant and what's "baller" is or should be completely subjective.

    I choose the dumb title for this thread as a play off the baller sneaker thread.

    it isnt, it was kind of a benchmark to use for the first 20 pages and it helped weed out some lesser liked things

    Just saying that over 700 for that is bullshit.

    I would say expensive is the definition of "baller". Doesn't mean it's good. Doesn't mean cheaper things aren't better.

    Aldens are better than those. On par with most in this thread in terms of quality, just that the styling is different.

    I think the important point is exclusivity. Not many people are gonna be walking around in a pair of Carpes.
