1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Best derby available today- modern day S45M, cost is serious. I spoke with Luigi earlier today and they do have sz 43 available for immediate delivery.

    I'll take a pair in non-reverse :)

The latest arrival by Layer 0 is a complete handmade Derby using the highest quality of Materials. The upper of the shoe is made out of reversed cordovan which Alessio personally selects each piece of Leather that will be used for this exclusive series. The leather Sole, Insole and Heel are made by the German Based Tannery Rendenbach which uses only Natural ingredients for the Tanning process. All Leathers are tanned exclusively in a traditional Oak Bark Ground Tanning Method that makes the Leather Water Resistant but still allows it to Breath. For anyone who appreciates leather will fall in love with the incredible scent of the sole.
The form of the shoe is exclusively made for this Derby which is a fusion of Alessio's 3 Standard Forms he developed througout his collection.
The Shoes are completely hand sown using the Goodyear technic and each Ordered pair will be ready in ca. 3 Months.

Nice to see the use of Rendenbach materials in these shoes.

Awesome indepth write up. I think the only thing really stopping me from buying layer 0 is the notch in the heel though I guess I could just have it sanded down for vibramming... the guidi cordovan shoes you posted were extremely tempting though especially the red derbies.

The combination of leather type, random broguing on the U throat (why is that there?) and the captoe, the sneaker laces, and the baby-shit colored and hyper-contrasting Goyser welt all combine to make this an absolute abomination. Oh, and let's not forget Jet trying to stick all of that "manliness" on one of Vass's sleeker lasts. I'm surprised Vass agreed to make such a boot.

Seriously, all this because jet didn't like your chelsea boots?

If it helps, I liked them. Do you feel validated by the internet now?

All of this? LOL, hendrix can you please stop swinging from jet's sack?

How is my calling his boots ugly any different from his 3 separate mentions of my ugly boots in the span of 3 hours in the same thread? Again, I would like to mention that jet's barrage was, again, unprovoked.

I like jet's boots, does this mean I'm swinging from his sack?

Who's sack is better to swing from?
If you seriously feel victimised by jet's antagonisation, why are you doing it right back?

You don't have the right to complain about bad form if you're just going to engage in it yourself.
