Yup. There's a pair on SZ right now that's even my size, but 1800$ is just too much money. I like that toebox, though - makes the whole thing so absurdly, whimsically sinister.

sinnedk - the topy products i'm considering for one of my derby has the same thickness both front and back(heel) as vibram. I don't have a comparison yet but the rubber look to be similar to that of vibram and I expect it to wear down about the same.

ok show me once you do it, i haven't seen topy in thickness of vibram and i opt for vibram due to experience with their quality

^^ yea, sure will. no doubt about vibram's quality as that's what i've been using also. i'm only considering the topy for the deep black color it has over vibram.

it's just a piece of rubber, there's not much in the way of quality. Topy or vibram or whatever your cobbler suggests will be fine.

the important part, as eck mentioned, is if he does add a thick layer on, make sure he shaves down the equivalent first so it doesn't throw out the balance.

fair enough, it was just that all the topy i've seen in person was too thin for my liking

I really like these.. anyone know if the toes on these double-zips are as pointy as the tornado's? That's the only thing I can't quite get past..

those are just side zips; all ccp boots have 2 zipper heads.

The toe box should be the same on both-
