    Yeah those AW10 Augusta back zips are some of my fav boots ever. I would love to find a size 8 somewhere in like new condition. I'm pissed I didn't pick up the pair Mike Nouveau had for sale on SZ last year.

    almost identical to my reverse leather zip boots, seeing those makes my acquisition that much better, now need a reg leather version :slayer:

    docus, both the low and tall avantindietro spiral zips are phenomenal. absolutely beautiful.

    I never see people pair avantindietro with cdg or yohji, but I think they'd work really well.

    Tried on some Augusta derbys in horse. Really nice, but really pricey. My size (big) and fit like ze glove. Should I leap or?

    By the way does anybody know anything about the lasts guidi uses (I.e. which styles are similar in fit?)

    What model you comparing in particular? My guess is most the really popular models use the same last. The thicker soled models use the same last plus 1 additional layer of leather added to the heel and sole. Not 100% sure. My Guidi size is the same across the board for all current models.

    Eck those red background boots I saved a long time ago and the best av boots i seen, did those ever make production? Never seen anybody cop those but wouldn't get cordovan.
