I'm pretty unfamiliar with Carpe Diem boots, but was looking to buy this pair and dye them black. Could anyone maybe shed some light on what kind of leather this might be? The seller didn't think they're horse, but didn't seem too sure.

What's the quality like with Marsell? Not positive they fall within this category... just figured if anyone has experience, I could use it. Reviews in general on the internet seem all over the place...

Marsell quality is good it's their design that's sometimes really crappy. Also I don't think they are ever worth it at full price, catch the boots on a good sale and it's worth it.
