CCP is really cool, i'd love to try a pair

those are cool, and i agree they kinda look like a pair of varvatos but simone is not as simple i am sure thats horse or something

quality looks really good, but before i'd buy i would like to know more about how they manufacture their boots, do they put the same effort as CD/A1923/MA+/CCP,
if its knockoff the CD style by a Japanese artist then the price shouldnt be so high (i know Jun was at CD, but he is not Altieri)

What does effort mean? The quality on Jun Hashimoto is fantastic. The Jun Hashimoto waxed heavy horse, destroyed horse, vintage cordovan, and bridle leather uppers are as nice as anything by Carpe Diem. I'm not too sure what exactly makes a sole high quality manufacture, but from hand inspection, they're as nice as my Augusta and Guidi. I've been wearing them hard for a year and a half in snow and whatnot, they've held up wonderfully.

Even baller boots are still made in a factory

Jun's line is making an appearance on Singapore's Men Fashion Festival on the 20th. Can't make it for the show due to other commitments though. so bumped.

The CD looks a bit more aggressive to me? Maybe higher heel?

Can you knock off your own work?

yeah, i never liked most ccp styles because the pointed toe is hideous. could be different when worn, but i never tried them on. btw, wjk's leathers are all around pretty good. shoes and jackets are good to invest in, his style is timeless. like some rick jacket models, but flat out better.

I missed out on that blazer last year- :fu:

There is actually wrinkled leather jacket this season (LET015 WCF01) that looks really great for a SS piece.

good to know, i have no experience with WJK, but also see my comment below

i am inferring that the price point isn't justified because he is trying to re-do carpe diem and not really creating anything different, dont get so hung up on one word

Marvie was the main person behind the Linea knits (with Altieri), dunno about F QR, a lot of the people who "worked" for Altieri weren't as involved as that but in her case we're talking true creative input at all levels. She makes cute clothing for smart girls that I think looks great and she has a couple nice things for guys, including a really amazing reversible jacket.

no people want carpe diem not a remake.

i questioning WJK because i want to know more about it. This whole thread is covered with A1923, Guidi and Carpe mostly, if WJK was that great then we'd talk about it more... and if its that great then let us know about it
