From classic to contemporary, Allen Edmondsâ„¢ shoes reflect an American Classic design philosophy that contributes to timeless elegance and enduring style. For styles that transcend time, look no further than Allen Edmonds'â„¢ exquisite collection of leather-bottom dress shoes.

No brand so dominates the content of the StyleForvm Men's Clothing subforvm. Because Wikipedia is too hard, let this thread be a living document capturing the most notable of the daily Allen Edmondsâ„¢ posts.

Gentlemen and Metrostyles, I present:

The Official Allen-EdmondsÂ
StyleForvm Post of the Day* Thread

Posts so chosen will be awarded the coveted WeltyÂ
:

At the end of the year, the author of the single most notable post will be allowed to download this image file on to his, hers, or Metrostyle's computer or mobile device. For free.

And now, let us draw back the curtains and dim the lights...

* "Day" in this case refers to my waking moments, whatever that happens to be, in rough synchronization of Eastern Standard Time with the Gregorian calendar.

I object to the blatant catering to Georgians. It is discrimination. Julians*, Metrics, and Mayans also deserve recognition of their temporal measurement systems. I demand satisfaction! Shoe duel at dawn.
*also famous for their spiral cut food.

Maybe I'm drunk, but I suspect the sole shape of those AEs would be unsuitable as esteemed Seconds. They are clearly the lower quality "Firsts" that retailers pass off as seconds.

Sri, I suspect no one can say without knowing if you have any shoes that don't hurt your feet to one degree or another. But the simple...repeat, simple...fact is that shoes designed to fit many feet seldom fit any feet well. Gemming ain't in it.

^^ You could have at least dangled some actual AEs from the rail. The concept otherwise is a win.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
