I just noticed a pre order for Black calf tanker boots on commando over at Lost and found. These look like the ultimate $h*t kickin' boot! Don't know much about the shop, but they got some cool make ups. http://shoplostfound.com/collections/alden/products/alden-black-lady-calf-tanker-boot

Pretty steep price for calf.

That's Canadian dollars. About $550US so on par with other calf boots.

OK, just ordered my third pair today (in 2 weeks)! I think I need to slow down!

That being said, I'm looking for advice on a winter boot to be worn in inclement weather. For such a boot is calf >shell? Any other advice for a winter boot?

I have purchased a few pair of Alden from them. Great store, great staff.
I've also seen these in person, great boot.

Leather Soul did the exact same lady calf NST boot several years ago which I picked up along with a CXL version. A nice make-up, but it's amazing how little I reach for black casual shoes.

Could be listing only worn in house three times Ravello LWB Waterlock sole Alden DC with everything, box, bags, receipt in few days. Yes, the ever popular 9D. Not interested in price gouging, cost plus Paypay and shipping. Possible impulse sale here... PM if toying with the Ravello LWB itch. Beautiful color, Barrie fit for me is so so. No returns, if you don't know your Barrie size. Go 1/2 down TTS and done.

Been meaning to replace my black Viberg service boots because I wanted something sleeker or in shell. I might jump on those tankers. That's almost the exact makeup or been asking for (except I wanted black shell).
