1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

i think that is kind of a smudge (I don't believe it is a dent in the leather) - I'll check when I get home

+1. I am totally with you on this. I love all the colors but find myself gravitating towards Cigar most of the time due to its versatility and hue. I love the way slightly older Cigar fades into a lighter shade over time.

Has anyone ever had this problem with a pair of Indys? Shoe tongues just won't stay in place during wear. Alden wants me to send them in, but not sure if it's really worth all that trouble.

    Any advice?

Happened to my cigar captoe boots on the left foot. I took it to my local cobbler and they attached one side of the tongue to the boot. Problem solved....

I have this issue on my indy's. It is without a doubt a manufacturing defect in my case because the tongue is off center. dont have this problem with any other alden shoes/boots.

Ravello is beautiful, I just prfer teh darker hue of cigar, and to me it works better in teh winter.

When I spoke to shoemart, they said that Alden is running a year on new cigar orders.

probably longer than a year. ordered a cigar captoe close to a year ago, and it hasn't even been confirmed by alden yet.

IMHO the best shoe past for Chromexcel pull-up leather is Saphir Graise Medalile D'or.
I use it on my Indy 403 ASA the 57245 Horse Bit Loafer Pull-up.
I made from natural animal fat, and it provides great shine.

I'll have to call the Shoemart and see if I can reserve a pair. I'm on the waiting list at Leffot in case anyone in a 9D isn't able to fulfill their pre-order but I doubt that will happen.

What I really need is for someone to buy my Ravello LWB listed in the B&S.

What you really need is bigger feet and that problem would be solved. :fu:

Leffot only has 9.5 left on the LWB Color 8...I wonder if I can pull it off...how is the toe room on barrie last? I'm 10 in trubalance w/ generous toe room, 10 in grant which fits like a glove but doesn't hurt my feet.
