Anyone here able to translate them?

My Japanese is rusty, but the recurrent theme is "can you believe we really pay $1000 a pair for these?"

It appears to be each person talking about their favorite Aldens and why, but I notice in all the videos the same shoes are shown.

How is it that you get onto the Shoemart's list for info about seconds?

I need a lace up of some sort in black, recommend me something with photos! I like the longwings...

You email them or phone them with your size and email address and then hope they actually put you on the list.

I have the list for 8.5 D if anyone's interested, PM me. It does not include any longwings currently however.

    Was going after Leffot's Tankers

Looks nice. What sole dressing did you use and what grain sandpaper?

djh- looks pretty solid, do explain the details of the process as I would like to try that on my black calf Tankers (which are already missing a fair bit of the color in spots anyway so consistency would be an improvement)

Interesting - explain more about this. I have been contemplating doing this to my #8 captoes.

I considered doing that on a couple of pair as well but sanding the sides don't take into account the top of where the welt is stitched. That would remain black. No?
