Clown shoes?? I don't think so... always lookin' good DV!

A great looking shoe for business casual or more sporty dress wear. What's the point of hating on taste?

Def gotta have the chops to pull it off. Nice. Those who dont, well you know how it goes

Members like MrDV pull them off effortlessly. I don't think I could do the same.

I've never heard that idiom before.

DV, those look absolutely beautiful.

I enjoy mine too. I also appreciate what they represent: commemorating innovation, a great idea, staying power and great looking Alden make-ups.

Waiting to board a flight to DC. Crepe sole comfort for a conference where I'll be on my feet all day. Will drop by Alden DC of course.

Quote: Said Barrie earlier. Nice to see the switch to Aberdeen.

I immediately checked out the description after reading your post (SFTG), and it did in fact say Barrie on the website. I checked it later and it said aberdeen. I thought I was going nuts!

My comment was not directed at you, blue.

Wow, didn't realize one dissenting opinion would foster such passive aggression. And from a member I respect. I'd like to think we can express our opinions on Alden shoes freely on this board without offending someone with a differing view. I don't feel my comment was malicious in any way. I appreciate Aldens and usually post positive comments about make-ups, other members' opinions, and outfits. Back off.
