1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

got a chance to swing by AH One this afternoon to pick up a couple pairs. Can't say enough how impressed (again) I am with Aram's work. Class act to boot.

Flush taps and topy on the cigars, fresh topy/alden heels and some stitch work on my workhorse indys

The leffot tanker is the best tanker imo, and the 2nd is the tsm aberdeen tanker! (if dont consider the rare shell tanker). The next order i guess will be in Dec 2016 or earlier.

I got 2out of 3 best make up from leffot and the last one will be the daytripper.

The holes are left from the construction process.
Sometimes the back piece could cover/hide the hole, sometimes could not.

Gentlemen seeking Cigar LWB's in a 9D Barrie... There is a good man quietly selling a pair on here named Hot Dog Day #49 for $500 shipped. I'm not affiliated as I already own a pair, but I know that many of you may be interested given the current scarcity of Alden brown shell.

    Morning gents

Gave a few pairs a brushing last night.

Poor lighting in my dungeon of basement; all shoes are actually lighter than the appear.

Very nice! Is that the LS ravello wingtip, 990 PTB, and cigar LWB? Pretty rare we have 3 sightings of the LS ravello wingtips in the same week! [IMG]

    Shoes are looking great!

On a side note...what do you DO in this dungeon? I thought those were chisels at first...but they look more like...leather punch things? and a sweet looking roller thing on the right of the bench...

    Thanks for the kind words,

You are correct, LS SWBs from 2012.

I do leatherwork in my spare time. Duffel bags, women's bags, wallets, belts etc

The tools on the wall are "saddle makers" tools for hand sewing leather (I don't use machines in any of my work). I only use the highest quality tools supplies and leather (Horween, Alran, Clayton, wickett and craig etc). Below is some recent work. Both bags are Horween Essex, as well as the watch strap.

Maiden voyage for my black shell Leffot naval boots (well, except for the 30 minutes I wore them around the house and to pick my daughter up from school a couple days ago) from their most recent shipment. This is actually my second time owning these - I had a pair a couple of years ago but kept them in the closet for close to a year without ever taking them out of the box so I parted ways with them... only to immediately regret the decision. When Leffot offered a preorder on them again this past May, I jumped at the chance to order them again.

And from earlier this week: Unlined snuff suede PTBs while hanging out in the library. These may be my most comfortable pair of Alden.
