For the cap toes, are you referring to a cap toe blucher shoe (2160/2161) or a boot? I've never heard of a cap toe blucher boot on the Aberdeen, but I'd love to see it if it exists.

Shoe at TSM. Cap Toe on Aberdeen. One with perforations ..

Just a heads up. I was at the Tannery Outlet in Boston (back of the store on the left - top shelf) recently and saw a pair of cigar PTBs for 50% off. Size 8.5. Looks like they had been tried on a few times with some creasing and minor scraps on the sole (it is an outlet after all).

Not my size or I would have been all over them.

Consensus on Van last sizing? Searching the forum it seems people go with their Barrie size but that perhaps the Van is slightly closer to TTS? My Barrie 10.5 is perfect width with ample toe room (could even stand a bit less) - seems like 10.5 Van should work for me then?

After speaking to K I found out I'm 3rd on 9D Ravello captoe boots. Crossing fingers here.

I just got off the phone with Joe at Alden DC - he said the ravello grant last cap toe boot was confirmed in June and was only a limited run of sizes 7-11. Not sure how many in each size - only D widths though. I'm a size 12 - so I'm out of luck.

If you are asking if Van = TTS then in my experience not even close. If asking if Van = Barrie then maybe but depends, especially width for loafers/mocs. 8.5D Barrie boots fit me very well. "TTS" for me is 9D and that size fits me in Grant and Aberdeen. I take 8.5C in Van lasted leisure mocs. Maybe an 8.5D could work on a laced shoe but never tried. My feet would swim in a 9 on the Van last and Alden DC and NY (and I think Citishoes if IIRC) all recommend sizing down from TTS for Van.

Cheers guys. Thanks. Anyone have additional pictures of this Alden Michigan boot? The SA at Ben Silver I spoke with said it's an Alden stock model but I can't find anything on it anywhere. Maybe it's new?
