1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Lot of great snaps today. I'm breaking in my unlined for BB #8 Penny's. These look almost black under fluorescent office lighting but the sun makes the eggplant appear:

Wool socks keep your feet cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It's the beauty of the natural moisture-wicking effect of wool. You don't need to get super thick wool socks either. I love my SmartWool Diamond Jim socks. I wear them every day in the summer and winter, and my feet don't get sweaty and gross in the summer, and they stay warm in the winter. Wool really is king.

I worn wool all the time when I traveled a great deal, somehow I've been suck into the cotton sock world again where they only last a short time. I do however like cotton against my skin best, never any poly fabrics.

I am going to give the smartwool a shot this year - how do they hold up to washing machine.

They've been fine. They pill up a bit, but a fabric defuzzer (Conair makes a great one) helps and works quite well.

This thread is getting really weak. Maybe just rename it, post pics of your rare shell. Not interesting at all.

How would you improve it? What content would you like folks to post? Do you have anything to share?

Thanks. I didn't even get a chance to scroll through the pictures as I must have hit a dead spot on my cell. I saw the first pic and the price, and purchased. Checked the remaining pic's post-purchase. They'll need a little work but seems like a really unique shoe and at that price, there simply wasn't much of a risk. I'm pleased.
