1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Does anyone know if you can buy seconds at the shoemart store or is it call to order only?

while I've never personally walked a pair from the back shelves to the counter to purchase, I don't see why you could not. You can walk the shelves, handled the product, see the "defect".

Are these from this past summer? I have had to clean bloom off of mine 3 times as well. They are easily the bloomiest I own. I have a Cigar Indy that barely blooms at all. Ravello doesn't seem to bloom nearly as much. Color 8 I feel the same way.

I feel like the quality of Cigar shell this past year or so was higher than normal, albeit dark in shade, causing a ton of bloom.

Yup, mine came from the same batch. I agree about the quality of the cigar, it's through the roof. As I was cleaning them today I noticed a very subtle and slight color variation developing on the vamp above the Captoe. Man it looks sweet.

All of the 2015 Cigar is blooming a ton. I think its just a "feature" of the latest batch of Shells that Alden received from Horween. I assume its a good thing that they are highly nourished.

So glad the Epaulet pre-order is closing tonight. I don't need the temptation of those dark brown CXL longwings haunting me... (and they're close enough to my new AE McTavishes in Cognac that I really can't justify them. I repeat: I really can't justify them.)

The good news is my calf WT boots that arrived with a bit of hurt are on their way back from Alden via AoM, so I'll be breaking them in soon.

A few quick questions if you don't mind...

What size is your foot? and what is your address?

oh yeah... and do you have a gun?

also... kindly ignore the man spying on you.

I was wondering if anyone has sent a Whiskey Handswen model back to Alden for recrafting? Did they dye the contrast stitching with a redye as they did with my #8 LHS's. Kinda ruined the 8 year patina.

Those look great Mac - Indy has so many different dimensions depending on material/color/etc.

Haha, guns are my other biggest hobby. I already had to reinforce the doors because @BenLeaman is the same size!

    Sincerely,
