Gotcha, how deep is your current collection? I keep saying I would like to stay around 15 pairs but it keeps growing and cutting stuff gets harder lol, maybe 20 is a better sounding number anyways.

I'm trying really hard to get down to 5 shoes and 5 boots for my rotation. As of right now with orders and pre-orders I'll be a couple over. We'll see.

anyone doing the plaza indy? called Alden dc but no luck. did say they received their order of captoe cigar grant boots but long preorder list

JGilbert has a #8 Plaza Indy on Antique with the Commando Sole in their pipeline.

5 shoes and 5 boots sounds so reasonable, but then I look at what I have and wonder what I feel comfortable parting with and it gets tough. I think you just have to look at fit and how often it gets worn in the rotation. If they aren't getting worn it doesn't matter how good they look sitting in my closet. In the next bit I will need to cut down a few items.

That's the problem. I wear them all. The only pair I don't wear on a regular basis is my shell AE bals. But they aren't worth it to sell. I basically don't count them, haha. My 10 - 12 shoe rotation will be basically 1/2 Alden and 1/2 Edward Green.

LoL. I doubt DC got another new run of the Grant Cigars and Alden would have needed a Turbo Button to have the Ravello Cap Toes done. In Alden time, the Cigars just came in.

Saca, to my knowledge to date, the only Ravello Indy made was by Frans Boone. No other shop has picked it up. It is possible that someone else did a run an eon ago though.
