No way you designed those during the LS contest!? Thats freaking awesome that your boot got made but at the same time that kind of sucks (that you didnt get the free pair). Still as you said knowing that you designed an Alden boot that tons of people love is all types of amazing!

You sir know how to design a lovely pair of boots! Well done Roguls!

That's kinda ****** of LS to use your design without even throwing you a free make-up. I've bought a number of shoes from LS in the past, but they seem to be having some issues recently. Selling mostly sneakers now and promoting their Lobb stock, but they have very limited sizing in that.

+1. I wish I could get my deposit back for the Brown CXL tankers I have on pre-order. I'm not all that interested in them anymore. Plus I think it will be forever till it gets made.

With the JCrew PCT boots, many others (myself included) have gone 1/2 size up from our usual Barrie shoe size.

Same here Kwaker. Half size up from my barrie shoes for the J Crew #8 PCT, which worked out to be TTS for me.

I received my tobacco chamois ranger mocs back from B. Nelson after replacing the crepe sole with dainite. Haven't worn them yet but pretty happy with the resole. Shoes are noticeably lighter without Alden's crepe. Here are before and after pics.
