The Snuff Tassels don't interest me. I don't find snuff to be as versatile as others contend that it is.

(Note: These are the BB variant with foxing on the heel)
Bakes, thank you as always for being so helpful and forthcoming with the pics.

All three colors are nice. I own the 666, as well as a few others in dark brown suede (sometimes referred to as mocha kid suede). I own models in snuff and tan too. Of the three, snuff is my favorite.

For your stated uses, I would lean towards snuff and tan. However, for me, tan is almost strictly a spring/summer shoe whereas snuff and MKS are year-'rounders.

If you have plenty of snuff in your collection, I think the 666 is a viable option.

Your vote of confidence always brings me closer to the trigger pull. Thank you!
I like the Dark brown, but don't like the idea of wearing a shoe with that model #

, the snuff is very cool , I like the BB foxing but the BB has std. Oak sole while the Jcrew and SF has the flex sole.

This info is very helpful. I think the comfort of the flex sole will help me get over missing out on the BB foxing bonus.
As far as I can tell, the devil does not reside inside my MKS tassels.

Let's hope so. It is, of course, arguable that the devil resides in my desire to spend money senselessly on Aldens and Vibergs.

When Alden DC does a run of Ravello LWB's do they normally go lighter Antique sole or Dark sole? What's the preference around here? I think the Ravello color works well with many options. Torn between Cigar and Ravello LWB. Have had Whiskey LWB but I didn't reach enough for them.

Just won this pair of Aldens on an ebay auction.

A guy in Australia was selling them, and they happened to be my size.

This will be my first pair of Ravello shells.
