1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Novice question:

What size Jos A Bank/AE shoe trees do you use on 9.5D and 10D Barrie?

I can't seem to decide which is better -- I have both medium and large. Due to the larger nature of the last, I'm not sure whether to use my LG ones or due to the size (9.5D) to use medium. I have both 9.5D and 10D shoes.

    Thanks in advance!

My ShoeMart perfcaptoe boot is a nice pickup. Close to the Jcrew boot but you will notice some pinking on the cap. And the stitch along the side is missing. And no hooks. A fine replacement for my #8 straight tip boot. So I should sell those and get on the list for cigar straight tips at DC right? Sure. I have some cigar inbound from AoM due to the Ravello shortage but not sure what to expect for details on the cigar wingtip boot. I stayed on the list for Ravello LWB with no concern on wait time I just really love that shoe it will be a nice surprise someday.

Just as a heads up - my local Jos A Bank had their split shoe trees 2 for $25 and 3 for $30. Snagged 3. Along with the two woodlore trees I picked up from MassDrop, I'm now officially overflowing...

Such a shame... you pay hard earned money for these boots, and they come with BLOOM!!! What a disgrace.
    Oh, the humanity...
Send them here, and I will make sure they get disposed of properly.[IMG]

I look forward to seeing them after 10 seconds of brushing.
Looks like you got a decent pair from what little we see.

So in the span of a few weeks time, I went from being not a huge fan of the Indy boot, to not being able to face another winter without a pair. So when I saw these on the B&S, I jumped on them. Just the makeup I was looking for. Been wearing them all weekend and really, really happy with them!!!

(Excuse the poor pic and the dad jeans, I was just home from teh playground with my little guy!)

    Thanks guys! :)

The Ravello NST is a great first time NST shoe... It was my first NST design period. A great one at that.

Kdubs, that is interesting, all of my Cigar models have come with a decent amount of bloom as well. Interesting, but its supposed to be a sign of healthy shell, so enjoy brushing it I guess?

    :) Thanks BK.

Very nice, glad that you are enjoying your Indy Boots. They are supposed to be very good for arch support and whatnot.

What are the details on the makeup? They look like Natty CXL's, which is what I also recently got and am loving. I tried them on mainly to be polite to the guy at the Alden SF shop, and just had to buy them. Strangest impulse buy of my life. Now I'm seriously fixated on a second set of Alden boots. Really want a commando-sole boot in tan calf wingtip or an NST. 11.5D is apparently very, very hard to find...

I also received mine from Shoemart and like you I prefer them to the JCrew for their relative sleekness and the Grant last.
