Someone once told me that if Barrie heel was too wide, go with Modified last. I've never tried it on, personally.

Modified last has a very unique fit to it. For me it fit like a glove when I initially tried it on, but I soon realized it felt super awkward to walk in them. This eventually resulted in knee pain when I wore the shoes. Now they are out of the rotation.

Recently I bought my first pair cordovan shoes. I found that leather lining on blucher is heave [look at the photo]
Is it normal?

I've always taken it to be the end of San Francisco
Just found out that SFO is the airport code for the San Francisco International Airport. I don't think I've seen it refer to Alden of SF here before. Works for me though...

Are you asking whether or not they look unusually thick? If so, no. The lining looks pretty normal.
