1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

He was. He had a picture of his name on a piece of paper with the boots, but not the cigar LWBs, so I asked him to send one. It looked convincing, but I guess it was photoshopped.

Not by me. He fooled me with the second photo - it was only because of @stevent and @NAMOR that the scammer was revealed as such.

LOL. I sure did, man. Shoes matter more than any other part of a man's wardrobe.

glad to have picked these up on ebay.......I love them but am not sure I would have pulled the trigger at full retail......I am amazed at the lack of consistency on sizing as these are much more snug than my snuff tassels in the same size

Hi, I am 10.5 C tts so the NST on the Aberdeen fits perfectly. I had a 10 D from Fransboone which I will now sell. I wear 10 C in Barrie.

Congrats! Was this from the May 15th preorder? I've got a 8.5D preordered from that run, but wasn't expecting them to drop until September/October/November.

Oh, ok thank you. Are those the NST shoes? I was referring to the boots. Color 8 and antique edge is a beautiful combo either way.

It took a couple of months to break them in, but these might be the most comfortable pair I have.....the range of color on the natty CXL is amazing!

Convention dictates that someone say: "and he would've gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling kids" about now. Consider it done!

I was almost fooled as well. Asked for proof but he was banned before pics got to me. The search goes on for a pair of Cigar LWB...

Depends on the job, usually going with a straight tip black calf is the safest option IMHO. Really love the 909 though =).
Love the patina on natty CXL, this photo makes me very excited about the recent Leffot preorder. -D

Just curious how large are the brick and mortars AoM, Wash DC, and SF Alden compared to one another.

I can only speak to Madison as that's where I got all of my Alden's so far. It's a fairly small place(can't imagine the rent on it lol) but there's enough room to feel comfortable to try shoes on.
