1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Just wondering if anyone has sizing advice for the Plaza last. I am normally an 11c in most Hampton lasted shoes and 10.5d in most Barrie lasted shoes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your Hampton/Barrie size doesn't jive with my experience so take it for what it's worth, but I take the same size in the plaza and Hampton lasts.

So about 3 weeks ago I got married. It was an outdoor wedding. (had a great time) By the time the reception was over everybody’s shoes were covered in mud. The grass had been trampled so much that mud started to come through the grass. I thought it was pretty cool everybody all dressed up with muddy shoes. Afterwards a few friends and I walked out into a dried up lake bed to drink and smoke cigars. We walked really far into it until it became swampy. A few points I submerged my boots past the storm welt.

The boots sat with dried mud for about 2 days and I took a damp rag to them to wipe them down. Later on I took a wet toothbrush to the welt. That was the dirtiest part. You can see the stitching was pretty much black. The welt sticking is a light brown/red. After the toothbrush there was no sign of ever stomping in mud. I love these things. Just a toothbrush and a wet rag. No brushing or buffing. You can let these things go but they’ll always come back with minimal love. I’ll let them go for a little while longer and then go over them with the deer bone and everything. They are indestructible.

    Before stomping in mud…

    After all the fun…

For our honeymoon we backpacked through Europe for 2 weeks. Of course I brought the cxl indy boots for that…

This is the first day back to work after the honeymoon. Just a damp rag and toothbrush cleaned them up. Not the best picture and it was after I walked the dog in the back yard so they got dewy and dusty.

X Post from the EP thread. Picked up the light tan suede belt that Epaulet has thinking of using it with my tan suede LHS but it ended up not being a great match, thinking of returning it. The belt itself is amazing but I was hoping for a better color match.

Anyone know of a better match for tan suede? (I just emailed Kathy to see if she has anything, Mike mentioned she might)

Also picked up the Snuff belt, a little lighter than my chukkas but close enough for me.

    wow, these are awesome.

As usual, very hard it seems to get in on a LS offering. Ya gotta be lucky. I wasn't.
To me, this is the nicest version of the Snuff Suede WT boot out there. All eyes and brass. Dayum.

    Looking great Mike!

I always wonder if the Camel suede from Jcrew = tan suede? Anyone own both?

Looks like it's one down from snuff at Crew, so probably close to tan.

Not an Alden post, but shell-related. Satisfied with the results today spooning out some heavy scratches on my bb belt.
