1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Alden Leathersoul Jumper boots shell cordovan #8

It never ceases to amaze me how much better the Jumpers look when worn and creased. I'm doing black soft calf next so if you haven't preordered jump on it!

I started only stocking up to 9.5E here in Hawaii and now I stock 12Ds.

Wait, you're stocking 9 and 9 1/2 E widths now? On all of your Aldens?

    Yes!!!

Just saw that you will be opening a store in L.A! Do you have a tentative grand opening day?

Being pushed out everyday but now we're looking at March. We'll definitely have a grand opening party for SF.

This would be sweet. There aren't too many places in LA to try/buy Aldens that I know of, esp. the more casual boots.

Of the Jumpers similar to the one pictured above? Can we have more details on it if so? Sole, last and sizing range?

I can do that. Are you sure about the sole?
    I don't like the sole.

How do you care for roughout? How durable is roughout compared to suede?

I'm thinking those Cordovan jump Boots are looking great. [IMG]

I am also really loving my jump boots. They fit like a glove and have become nice and comfy after breaking in a bit. Thanks Tom!

Double leather, Trubalance, available for order in almost any size but will be stocking 6-12D.

We'll be right smack in Beverly Hills, right next to a parking lot ha ha.

Alden has a couple rough waxy/oily leathers but they're both dark. Probably more durable just in that you wouldn't mind just beating them up. The leather is thicker than suede.

This sounds interesting but prob not spend my money on interesting. I have the Black PT boot in shell and a pair of Ultimate Indy's on order so I am not sure I would get these. I am much more interested in the #8 shell jump boots and cannot justify that right now no matter how beautiful.

never fails, every time i see these jump boots i realize how deprived of fulfillment i am due to not being able to afford them. if i could sell my engineers i would totally jump on the list.
