1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Darn. No close.

On the plus side the size should be perfect for you!

Thanks. Hopefully. Even with low CAD, couldn't resist. Have to claw back on purchases now. Think it will be my last for awhile.

I need a snuff suede boot. I'd prefer a Wingtip Boot but I'm looking for brass hardware and a commando sole.

I don't know of anyone running this combo in any type of snuff. Looks like my options are

    1. Brick+Mortar snuff WT boot on Commando (no brass)
    2. Leffot cooney boot PCT with brass on double leather
    3. Fransboone has a bunch of snuff boots with brass but nothing in my size..
Any other interesting options I'm neglecting?

Nice email from AoM and their delayed Ravello shoes. Offering all who preordered a 15% discount on their next order due to the delay. However, there seems to be no timetable for delivery. I'm gonna stick with it. It seems Ravello in general is in shortage, but Cigar is coming in strong soon.

Plus free shoe trees! In addition you have the option to cancel. Might be a few pairs available!

I thought that was very kind of them, I accepted their offer and switched to cigar. Works out perfect for me anyway, I have a Ravello LWB and have been looking for a pair in cigar.

I think I am going to switch to Cigar as well. I got the Aberdeen NST's in Ravello which was something I didnt think would be possible when I ordered the WT boot. The other option I am considering is keeping both and using that 15% off on one of the new Cigar styles.

Looking great Don. I really like my pair of those.
Loving the patina on your Whiskey.
Ha! That is one of my old tricks. I like it because it makes it less obvious when shoes come in, plus who wants a $700 item sitting at their front door... However, it is rather embarrassing constantly going to UPS. Not as bad as their expression when you pay for insurance and they ask you to declare items and values and you say shoes and $750. Sadly, my local ups shop is immune to that now. They are surprised when I am not shipping or receiving shoes. -Mike

I did not get that email.........considering they "lost" my Whiskey lwb order a year ago, I'm a little concerned....surely they haven't done it twice.......especially when they were paid for about 8 months ago. Did anyone else not get an email about the ravello delay (that has an order in of course)?
