1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Those spectators look fantastic. Elegant, and unique - a subtle bit nice shift from typical lace-up wingtip or captoe Spectators.

And what is wrong with a little pimpin'? Every real man has a little of that in him. (Although, truth be told, no Tru Mac Daddy would be caught dead in those - too conservative and not flashy enough.)

A few decades ago spectators, inckuding models like these, were relativrly common. Now they are exotic and get Walter Mitty all excited. The less adventurous or more staid types are not going to like them.

I hope your clientele has some taste, you sell the hell out of them and then do the right the right thing: get those shoes in "e" widths so us wide-footed pimps can go maccin' in style.

Recently picked these up on eBay. The M58 last is my favourite Alden last I've tried.

Must have knicked them pretty hard yesterday. Is there any way to fix this or am I out of luck?

Hi All, I'm headed to NYC next weekend. Any spots in the city where I can find Alden specifically an NST boot or shoe on the Plaza last?

    Thanks in advance.

AoM has a couple boots in stock on plaza, but no NSTs from what I can remember(I went last week). Citishoes lists a color 8 Tanker on their site, but it's on Barrie.

    Sorry guy,
Just brushing, buffing, and some #8 paste wax as a last resort. It will honestly probably blend in eventually

Citishoes sometimes has other NST makeups -- this past Fall they had a NST in alpine grain. No guarantee they have anything like that now but, on the other hand, their new stuff often doesn't get much publicity so they might have some interesting things. It's possible.

You can make them look better at home, or a pro can make them look (nearly) as good as new. Sucks, but it's fixable.
