1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Alden NST is one the best designs and get a lot of love not just on SF. No surprises here but we do all have different tastes.

I thought the same thing initially. I've since done a 180 in thinking, plus, I typically get a lot of compliments on the tanker.

Same here. #8 tanker boot (barrie last) is my favourite #8 boot make-up, #8 Perf Cap toe by Jcrew comes right behind.

I don't know of any retailer offering any right now but you might want to contact Leather Soul and see if they have any plans of offering it in the future and if you can get on their list. They had that makeup a couple years ago and occasionally repeat their make-ups.

Is that a credit thing or wife avoidance tactic? I agree with the tanker choice, especially given the rest of your collections.

The J. Crew makeup is similar but doesn't have the all eyelets or pull-tab that I normally associate with the "Jumper" style. But really, once you have them on, your pant legs are likely to cover those details anyway.

    No....they are not the same.

Jcrew perf cap toe boot: Barrie last, eyelets + speed hooks

LS Jumper boot: Tru-balance Last, all eyelets with pull tabs.

Thanks! It's taken a few years but indeed the dream make-ups are in reach!
Cigar Brixtons first time out for me today (and I agree @stevefok / can't argue against this color!!) and from last night (sorry for poor lighting) compared to #8Halleck

I have both. The sleeking bone is much smaller and seems to be intended for hard to get to areas and fine tuning, thats how I use it. The deer bone is longer and bigger. It works well for getting rid of creases.

    See Ya,
    Steve

those look more like plaza last to me, a bit squared in the toes like the ones leathersoul had made. it says Alden for epaulet on the heel pad? still a grail for many. i can't believe i passed on the cigar brixtons when i saw them online.
