There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

We are sitting at 10 confirmed and paid at the moment, and I haven't paid yet as I was to be the last one. So I just need one more, although I believe I got it this morning. :)

Looking to purchase my second pair of Alden Boots. I already have the Reverse Chamois boots from Leffot. I really want a pair of natural Chromexcel boots. I'm thinking about getting in on this Leffot pre-order. I'm not sure if i should jump on this pre-order or I should wait out for something better like a wing tip Chromexcel boot with a commando sole? I plan to where these boots with mostly tapered jeans and a button down of some sort. Also, Do you'll think this pre order will sell out immediately or will I have a bit more time?

I don't think they will sell out immediately. You should have some time I would imagine. Although with how it sounds like you are intending to wear them you may want something on Barrie. It's a bit sleeker compared to Trubalance.

Thanks, I will just wait it out for something on the Barrie. I wear my jeans pretty slim as is so I think a sleeker profile would be better.

Can anyone offer suggestions for a repair issue? The commando sole on my cxl cap toe boots is starting to peel off on both boots (not the heel but the front portion) as I have worn through the stitching that attaches it. Im a little surprised at how vulnerable that stitching is. Anyhow I am guessing a cobbler can re-stitch it? Or would something like Shoe goo be a more durable solution since it may just wear through again. Appreciate any help.

    Speaking of natural CXL...

Here it is with a few months of solid wear.

Quote:Thanks for posting that. Makes me feel better about not getting the Indy's as that would give me potentially 4 Indys. a PCT is a style I'm lacking. Will be on the lookout now, thanks! What vender did you acquire those from?

These were a "for J Crew" model that I was lucky enough to snag off eBay.

I've worn them through everything so far this winter (thanks commando soles!) and they're developing a fantastic glow.

Guys - anybody purchase this chukka in the past? If so, thoughts on the "unlined" & single flex sole combo? Any pics? Thanks!

Bummer about going to the dentist. At least you have something nice to stare at as they torture you!

Your Natty CXL Naval Boots are looking very nice.

Yeah, they didn't sell out instantaneously, but I would be surprised if there were a ton of slots free when they close it.

Nice looking Patina on your Natty Indys.

I would have someone just glue a new rubber sole to replace the one falling off. That should last you another 2-3 years and then go for recraft.
