1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Thanks Gentlemen! I always feel good when I step into these beauties.

Thank you Sir. If they suit your style, why not have a pair for each day of the week? :decisions:

My friend, I would recommend that you call Alden San Francisco and pose that question to them. As a local Alden retailer, they should have places to recommend. If you are looking to ship them, B. Nelson is one of the most reputable cobblers that I am aware of.

Sweet, thanks for the info, I am in! I don't cuff my jeans, but I can definitely appreciate the quality and look of the "self-edge." I am gonna grab a pair of selvedge denim jeans.

I don't wash mine until about 1.5 years in and that's assuming they got hard hard wear. Granted I have a pair that I wash really regularly and they might have the best fades yet. It's all really subjective, but that's kind of the fun part. Individuality and authenticity are extremely valued by my generation. Or should I say 'jeaneration' lol

I got mine in Hawaii. I do not know anyone who sells it locally. One option might be to order it with a pair of shoes from TSM, Leffot or one of the Alden shops. If you are desperate send me a pm and you can borrow mine.

Much thanks chipshot! This is on the barrie last and there are several sizes in stock with Adam at Alden of Carmel. Glad to help enable! I love these, maybe more than my other barrie boots mainly because of the commando soles!
