1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Awesome foul weather go-to shoe. They look great in good weather also! Not sure you need the other all-weather options you mentioned the other day. Enjoy frequently and in great health...

I went for it as I've been wanting a plain toe suede boot for a while. Sub $400 with free returns if I don't love them. I love the brass eyelets with the suede. Should be supremely comfortable with the crepe sole too.

Love these! Are they barrie last? I think I may prefer the NST shoe on barrie rather than aberdeen.

    Thoughts anyone??

I think the more rounded toe box works better with the stitching. There is something about it on the Aberdeen being too much taper at the front, almost too sharp of an angle or something to me.

I snagged a pair of them. I like them very much, especially for $319 tax and shipping included...

No pics today, but wore my CXL Brixtons because of the rain. But I see shell in the forecast for the remainder of the week!

Thanks. The soles are definitely softer and easier on the joints, IMO.

That looks like a great boot, solid purchase guys.

I really liked the olive pair but they did not have my size.

May the public flogging begin! [IMG] @rydenfan

Just kidding SFTG. I certainly respect your opinion. For some reason, the NST on aberdeen is an awkward fit for me. I have to go with an E width and it looks awkward with the pointy last and a wider base. The barrie version just seems to suit my foot naturally. I do like the way both look though; the flat welt and barrie last still look sleek enough.
