1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

TSM Ravello wingtip boots arrived yesterday, so I took some natural light shots this morning. My Grail boot has finally landed!

Congrats! They are a beautiful shade. Let's keep that shade going for the in production NST.

Awesome! I would wear my Snuff Suedes in light rain, snow and ice, but nothing heavy.

Just thinking if it's worthwhile to convert to commando soles for $95. I really like the double water lock leather sole, but wouldn't mind some traction.

    That Ravello shade is perfect!
I have a pair of suede LWB with double waterlock that I really like, but I usually prefer to have some extra cushion with the rubber sole for my flat feet.

If you decide to do it, you'd at least be able to show them off year round.

Great pictures...looks like reddish-ravello is back! I'd have mine too, except FedEx failed to properly divert my package [IMG]

Well, I ended up returning the 403's in 8D. My local shop said that C widths are backordered (at the factory) for about 10 weeks, unfortunately. Any other recourse for me other than to find an alternate boot with narrower last?

I was thinking that too, but the JCrew picture is sooooo bad. I'd like to see these in person.

IMO based on your sizing of the 65 last, he 8E in the barrie and trubalance would work for you. My barrie size with thin/med thickness socks is 8.5E (best) but 9D works pretty well too. Pretty much the same size on the trubalance for me. I wear a 9E on the 65 last (e.g. park ave, strand).

Couple pics from the past few days in the CXL's including a night time shot with dreaded snow.

They are probably trying to understand how a shoe can cost $1200!

Beatle, congratulations! I know you have definitely waited your turn. Enjoy them very much! They look beautiful and are worth any wait.

That is why I intercept all deliveries and get them at a store. ;-) I pick up mine tonight on the way home from the airport.

Gforce, I picked them up. I think DV is "on deck", so you will be in the "hole". Will let you know how things pan out with them.

Frankly, I am concerned about the flaw. There was an unusual number of those Ravello PT Boots on the seconds list. They must have been harder to produce or something. Surprises me.
