1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Because for every 5 of something they make, 100 people want to buy it and 5 of them very quickly do. Supply vs demand.

    Thanks, Dubs.
I take the same size as Barrie, due to the instep.
I actually like how they fit.

When I was in DC a couple of weeks ago I tried on the loden green Michigan Boot and if I were to buy it, I would take it TTS (for reference sake, I am a 7.5D/E in the Barrie and an 8 on the Brannock and my other Van-lasted Alden, I'd take the Michigan Boot in the 8).

When I first saw the pictures of the Michigan Boot online, I didn't care for it and thought to myself, "Why not just get an Indy Boot?" But after seeing them in person, I really like them and decided they are a great alternative to the Indy Boot for those that don't like the shape of the TrueBalance last.

I wondered about that. I had the same reaction to the Michigan Boot when I saw it. Thanks for sharing.

Well I'm perplexed - happy but perplexed. My Barrie size is 8.5D and I ordered the BB PTBs in a size 9 only to learn here that I was likely out of luck in that they would be too big. They just arrived and, well, they are marked as a size 9 but seem to fit my feet like an 8.5D would. I'm wondering if maybe they are Barrie lasted but BB sizes them up by 1/2 for their listing (list 8.5 as 9, 9 as 9.5, etc…) to do away with confusion and actually allow the buyer to order their shoes TTS? I had only a few minutes to try these on, so perhaps I missed something and am overly optimistic, but they seem to work very well and I doubt I'd find them to fit so well and so snug if they were 1/2 size too big. Would be interested in hearing from others re their experiences when they get theirs. As it stands, these cost me $62 factoring in a $100 gift card I had sitting around for a while (finding nothing of interest at BB to spend it on).

Unfortunately I won't be home for another week to try mine on. I also ordered TTS. Will be sure to post my findings. Buda- glad yours worked out. Hope you enjoy them.

I also wear the same size in tremont as in barrie/trubalance. I often wonder why the tremont isn't used more often. For me, it's an excellent fit also. I've only seen it on the sw bal and the leffot atom blucher a while back.

Interesting. I haven't received mine yet (I'm north of the border) but when I do I will report back. Glad they worked out for you @budapest12!
