1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

On my way to Buffalo, sporting my brown chrmxl LWBs (Epaulet Innsbrook). Should be perfect for rain and 30-40 degree temps, as well as a long day in a couple of airports. Is O'Connell's the only Alden dealer on town?

I feel the pain of $1000 CAD Aldens, I have something on the way from DC as we speak that should be only about $80-90 though since we have less tax over here. UPS is the worst foe the brokerage rates. Typically like $50-60 and then taxes on top. I tried to get Kathy to ship via USPS but she felt more comfortable sticking with UPS and ultimately no reason to press the issue. I have gotten Alden SF to ship via USPS and that pair arrived without an extra dime on arrival! (a rare win haha)

Snuff for me as well today, though I wish I had a black shell PTB to rock the MDubs Halloween look.

RydenFan, these are great. These the Leffot Plaza version? I have them and they are just superb. King of my Suede family for sure.
Wow, these are three great examples to how the Cap Toe Boot pattern can absolutely rock. Happy Halloween. Mike

Wow Repp and Henry, I had to scroll up to ensure that I wasn't looking at the same pair!!! Very cool. I like the shoes, but not a big fan of those laces, but I tend to have a more conservative style pallet. Walds and Burzan, you are both killing it with your snuff! I must say, I particularly love those Snuff Indy boots. Too bad I have already exceeded my Snuff limit. I feel your Canadian UPS pain as I recently sold a pair of ice skates on eBay and got hosed when the recipient decided to not pay the taxes. Ended up costing me about $60 to "sell" those skates. -Mike

Repp, O'Connells was the only dealer but their relationship with Alden terminated about a year back. They did a stock blow out sale, but may still have a few lingering pairs.
