1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Is it the general consensus for Alden foks that 8.5D Barrie = 9D Hampton

If that's the case, which shoe fits larger (8.5 Barrie or 9D Hampton).

Just got my Indys back from B Nelson, in dire need of new heels.I'm lazy and don't know any good local cobblers.

They did a fantastic job, but someone put about a quarter inch thick layer of cream polish all over the damn CXL. VSC and scrubbing only worked slightly, now I have to buy some Reno Mat to fix this.

Its Alden NY, they run an exotics email that you have to be requested to be added too. I wasnt aware of this myself until today and I have bought shoes from them in the past including exotic shell.
The wait list is long and will likely have all units spoken for by the end of the night. The wingtip boot being the most popular of course.
Very limited run. Didnt ask quantity. A little disapointed but congrats to those who got in. The C&J wingtip will be my first C&J so praying they come out very nice, which I assume they will.

The first rule of fight club is, you do not talk about fight club.

I was lucky to get the email this morning. I secured a pair of boots.
They should ship in about 10 months.

Well fuck. Just called and myself to the list. Anyone know how often they tend to do "exotic" boots?

I was not the first to spill it...but come on. To be added to the super secret list you need to call them and add you to the email list. That is not really that secret. and BTW, they were also calling customers for the last two weeks and the email that went out today was obviously spots available after everyone else said yay or no, so again not really that secretive...

Yes, but before they started calling they were visiting people at home.

From my understanding, no need to call. All the orders were filled out to the people who had received the email from the retailer.
