1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I have a pair of Red Wing Iron Rangers amber harness and Wolverine Courtland 1000 Mile brown leather. I love them both, but wear the Wolverines more often. They are a more diverse boot in my opinion, especially with the vibram rubber pad and heal lift. I've been intrigued by the Alden Indy boot, which is similar in style to the Wolverine Courtland 1000 Mile boot. The Alden Indy snuff suede boots really caught my eye. Very nice looking boot! These would look great with jeans and khakis.

These would round out my boot collection. What is the double waterlock leather sole? I understand that suede is more delicate and tougher to maintain than leather, but that's ok. How will the suede snuff wear over time? What do y'all think about this boot?

@walds11 I am not a huge Indy boot fan but that being said I think the suede one is great..with some proper suede care you should be fine but certainly would not go clearing forests in them.

I don't have a pair of Alden that DOESN'T have the stitch issue on the facing where it meets the vamp.

    Just enjoy them!

The short answer to just wear them. They are shoes. They crease. There is no right or wrong way for a shoe to crease, I'm sorry.

30% off BB Corporate sale is on now, does anyone know if they will let you buy and get on a wait list for an out of stock size in any of the Alden stuff. Wouldn't mind selling my AE Patriots and getting the unlined LHS instead for that price.

Ive been trying to find this button for years! Is it one of those things that you need a tip of a pencil to get at?

Also @mdubs those Cigar Med Boots are insane!

I have backordered them this way without an issue. If the website won't let you order them on backorder, then my guess is no.

Call one of the big stores, last year I ordered a pair of wingtips that were sold out online from the NY Madison store and they honored the corp. discount.
