1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    My first pair of dress shoes (not Aldens obviously) as a 19 year old was a pair of Burgundy Tassels. I think young people can pull these off if they so chose. -Mike

    nephew, thank you! tassels are a classy shoe which should be in your wardrobe unless the aberdeen last does not work for you. the tassels were first marketed by aldens in 1947. the king and black are the best. i had my first pair when i was a teenager. try them you will like them

    Wow. That is not the family photo I had in my mind when I saw the preview text...

    But you look very good, cute family, and of course awesome Aldens.

    Those look awesome. The brass eyelets add a nice amount of flair to the design. I like how they have the Thomas heel. It's supposed to provide better arch support than the standard heel, but it seems like such a small difference to me. :)

    @gosheik thank you! These are sweet!

    @mdubs the thomas heel makes a big difference for me. Maybe it's because I have very flat feet and my arches are always aching me. I actively search it out on boots.

    @aDrummingDude great family shot !

    They came with only the tan laces, no flat waxed laces.
