1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Alden doesn't make double monks. Go buy C&J, EG or JL - their monks are better anyway.

Congrats! You must have great taste in shoes if you have the LWB Rainbow. You really should consider the Cigar LWB though over the MacNeil... Does your MacNeil have brown transparent or light brown transparent edges?

That's one of my future project shoes. I was thinking a Whiskey NST Monk would be insane.

Exactly. Check out the C&J Double Monks I did as a MTO in Whiskey Shell Cordovan over on the C&J MTO Central thread.

What do you think about the Shell logo on the bottom of the shoe? That can't be a shell shoe can it?

So if you were to pick up one pair of Shell LWB which would be preferred: Whiskey, Cigar, or Ravello.. Wife has said if I purchase a pair, I am done for a while, so want to make a educated choice.

I'm pretty sure most people would say ravello but cigar might be more versatile.

What color would convince her that you need another?

The best LWB color is Cigar IMO. In fact, there are only 2 makeups where Color 8 is not King: LWB (Cigar) and LHS (Whiskey)

Do you already have color 8? If not, that would be my choice. Of the colors you listed, I would go with cigar.

So should I pass on the Whiskeys if given the chance to purchase... Would love all three, but that might require a Powerball win... Anyone have Cigars in the pipeline as my wait on the Whiskey list was all of about one month...
