I'd take those Scotch' 8s over the ravello anyday! Hands down!

There have been 20 times more Ravello out there than Scotchgrain color 8.

One of my grail shoes/boots.

This scotch grain thing is starting to grow on me. Those wingtip boots are amazing. Who offered those? Those are calf, correct?

Pretty sure they're shell -- I've seen photos (only that, mind you) of scotch-grain color 8 cordovan.

The scotch grain boots are shell.

Holy BeJesus. I thought so, but I didn't want to say it. That is a whole different type of awesomeness. I need them!

cant see any reason why a scotch grain #8 offering couldn't be done up (assuming the tooling is still avail)

I'd be in in a heartbeat

Anyone know who made those come about? Not that we'll ever see them again... Although may be easier than Ravello/Whiskey/Color 4

The shells would have to be embossed with the pattern (possibly by a third party if Horween does not offer it anymore)

^ Viberg offers scotch grain horse hide (and I think cordovan but not sure). I would not think it is beyond Alden but who knows.

I'm not sure who the OP was, but how long ago were those available?
