1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Great look! Dare I say autumn is the best season for Aldens?

@Johnniegold Congrats my friend! I have finally finished my quest on the Chukka as well. It took me 2 years. Wow, you waste no time putting boot to foot. I could probably learn a lesson from you on that...

You can purchase them from Benjos, or some vendors on Amazon. The 54" length is what you're looking for.

Seems we led the thread off on a tangent a bit.

Been sitting on a J. Crew gift card for a while. Hoping for another "mixup" with one of their sale codes in order to get in on a Color 8 LWB at a bit of a discount. But I've had to stay on the sidelines for much of the shell game, so no other plans in that arena.

I'd love to get a Cigar LWB, but at $750+ new--and sometimes more used!--it's not in the cards. The pics of the AoC ones that are showing up are just gorgeous, though.

In a money is no object world? My next three would be:

    1. Cigar LWB
    2. Cigar Indy
    3. Cigar LHS

I haven't ever seen Whiskey IRL, but I think it might be a little too light for me. I ranked the Indy above the LHS largely because I have the LHS in No. 8.

I wanted to share an"Aldens in the Wild!" pic, I had to join our field work crew to confirm some local water levels, and was assured that the stream was totally dry, well as you can see it wasn't, good thing my 404s are tough and are my "field boots" , they were seconds to begin with so I don't bemoan getting some wear and tear out of them. And hey Indy wore his indy's in way worse stuff, so no big deal! They dried out and some conditioner and obenauf's and they are good as new! I know it doesn't get a lot of love, but horween kudu leather is pretty awesome stuff (have longwings too, my stealth gunboats).

That is magnificent. Dr. Jones would be proud to see his tradition of properly using the Alden Work Boot carried forward...
