Uncle, your ravello PTBs look great.  Are they from the most recent batch earlier this fall?  Yours look like they have a dark storm welt and antique edge.  Mine have a dark edge and welt.

Got my 990 (#8 PTBs) seconds from TSM yesterday.

The heel is very obviously defective and I will be returning them.

These were in 10D.

Ive had other pairs of 2nds from TSM and struggled to tell what the issue was.

Thanks. Whoever put the finish on this batch deserves a raise. My youngest son (who's never said anything about shoes) said "Whoa, they seriously need to make those in kid sizes".

Drives me nuts to see those and only wish they were my size - those are my grails except for maybe those color #4 tankers in Japan but those dont really exist so Ill pretend I never saw the pics

Funny how different the severity of blemishes are on the TSM seconds. Offering those at only a 40% discount is an insult. I had to send a pair of Split Toe seconds back to TSM. The stitching was so far off they looked like I was wearing two different styled shoes.

They need to start taking better pics of the blems or have deeper discounts on the shoes that have the bad "issues" from a blem perspective.
