1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Well, worth trying on the off chance that this works:

Anyone get the 8.5D Antique LWBs but actually want an 8.5E for a straight swap?

From my exp. If there's heel slip now , it won't go away, the soles will brek in but at the same tine the cork will compress and there will be more room , if it's just a tiny bit of heel slip a tongue pad might help but if you're getting a considerable amount of slip return them, just IMO.

For $600+ shoes, I would want the fit to be perfect. Leffot will undoubtedly reorder the antique LWB in a few months, better to return/sell and get your correct size than just deal with it.

IMHO, when you get more LWB that are correctly fitted, these wider ones are going to bother you.

    Seriously??? :puzzled:

What you wrote in bold is not the same as what you wrote in the more recent post.

I am implying that it was a bad suggestion to "go back a couple of months" in the thread. It is not efficient and has 100s of posts per month. Had you said the latter (in your more recent post) I would have thought that was reasonable.

I dislike when people say go scour a thread for something when someone may know exactly where something is and can quickly post or repost the pics. In this case ATL and mdubs did it much faster than me searching.

Saphir cream polish on CXL, generally not done or necessary. Just some renovateur - rarely - and a lot of brushing, or even this would work well:

    http://www.hangerproject.com/saphir-greasy-leather-cream.html

but again, some people tend to overdo conditioning on CXL. Nick Horween says it's rarely needed.
