1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Yes, I see, I dont like the alpine grain. I am looking for a regular tanker boot, color 8 is fine. I´ll be checking here and in those sites, thanks

I got some recently from citishoes. They're color 8 with black edge and commando sole and speed hooks.

    The style is 4020HC.

I would rather have the Leffot version wiith antique edge, but you have to be really lucky to grab one. They're generally gone within seconds of going live.

If you're OK with black, Alden SF still has a few sizes left.

Edit: Regarding Color 8, I did some legwork about a month ago and posted the results here:

It is an acquired art to be able to snag the Alden's of your choice and size. I have been paying close Attention to this sf for a couple of months. Learned a lot!!

Fall 2015? You really think its more than a year for a grain chukka? I am hoping they meant fall '14

At this point in the year they would all be fall '14, really. I'm not sure why they would single out the chukka unless it was further out. Maybe they material has a longer lead time than the others?

    Post is now removed...Hmmmm

Yes, I prefer the antique finish, and I would prefer brown calf over the cordovan 8, but if the color 8 and antique finish is difficult to find, I dont want to even think about finding a brown version.
