1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Its funny because I thought they were reverse Chamois from the pic not snuff suede. I wish more Rangers were done on the Barrie as I have difficulty with my sizing in Van

There are a few non shell makeups that I like but for me it's hard to justify paying retail , when you can get some models on sale @BB and sometimes @Jcrew, but I have to admit that some are very unique like the Leffot Chamois boot and Epaulet Innsbruck Indy boot.

I understand that you've already ordered your boots but I will say that I think there is some variation when "snuff suede" is used to describe shoes/boots. I also prefer the darker suede. Here are two snuff suede boots I own. The chukkas are definitely darker than the WT boots. I was actually surprised at how light the WT boots were.

Good luck and I hope the boots work out for you.

    I would add:

A flex sole is a single leather sole soaked in oil. A double waterlock sole is a flex sole (i.e., single leather sole soaked in oil) plus the addition of a regular leather (i.e., non-oil soaked) midsole.

Quote:Your not kidding. Just spent 30 minutes discussing mensware and shoes here in the Engineering dept.(extremely casual) Only since I noticed a new pair from a colleague. Only because the old pair was worn every day. Then got into a discussion on what constitutes a high price when a female coworker came in. $100-150 seemed pretty high. Then I piped in.... Why is it not time to leave yet. I have a shoe box waiting on the porch!
