Color 8 Tassel.  It wouldn't be my first choice for either scenario, but if I had to go with one that serves both purposes, I think utility is maximized with such a selection.

First post here so please be gentle.

I'm looking to get my first pair of shell cordovan shoes. Debating between PT and LWB in #8. I do not wear suits very often, mainly casual for work and every day. I currently own a few pair of boots, 403s and PTBs in chromexcel, suede shoes and chukkas.

Any suggestions between the PT and the LWB?

Open to other suggestions too, wear a 7D in a Barrie.

Finally pulled the trigger on a pair of #8 cap toe boots, based on sizing advice I received from Yenni while I was in Seattle last month.

Should be here before the end of the week. Fingers crossed that these will work out for me!

These are sweet. Nice pickup. Is it me or does it seem as more BB shoes have the coveted Horween stamp on the inside of the shoe than others?

Found the solution to my personal "what color paste wax for my color 4ish ravello" quandry. Kiwi Dark Tan. Apparently not that easy to come by but was described as "chestnut". Very much to my liking as it didn't change the reddish hue.
