1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

There was just one style made in early 2014. LWB. Limited run of 20 pairs by a US based retailer, retailed $825.

Limited utility for me personally. But it's one black shell boot/shoe I would rather have since I don't have any others.

Limited for me as well. I'll admit that the lure of shell is appealing but I can't see wearing black shell for anything other than formal occasions

    I

I am planning on placing an order for them. Missed them last time around, hopefully will get to order in time. I like the black shell, works with flannels, jeans or khakis.

It is under strong consideration.....figured while I have the #8 coming in...why not.

Personally, I don't get it. I rarely wear black and, when I do, it's more formal. A super shiny black boot from Alden -- when nearly all of their boots look super casual at best -- only hits martial notes for me.

Ha! That is the exact reason I decided to not get them.

That is a very nice looking shoe. I unfortunately have no clue who makes the shoe. I personally find the pull tabs on them a pidge odd. I would forgo them and get the 9751. For a shoe to last you decades (with proper care), I would go for the Shell.

    Uncle,

Those Whiskey LHSes are beautiful and have a great glow.

Shouldn't it be exactly opposite Mike? And since you're not getting the ravello day tripper this one's an obvious yes?

Is the ravello daytripper actually coming to market?

One can only hope. And that it looks like the previous version or the Kirkwood.

In the wild Leffot Naval boot in black shell...
Just to give the folks on the fence a nudge.
This is a little bit ago, but it shows the black glow :)

I think so. I put in a deposit and I was told they'd contact me when they arrive. This is my first time being on a list so I don't really know how it works. I hope it doesn't get cancelled somehow between now and December because I just gave up another make up for them.

    I'm guessing Grenson.
I have a pair of older BBBF longwings which were made by Grenson.
The nail pattern on the heel looks like both C&J and Grenson but C&J doesn't often make longwings.
